Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. Specifically, design and develop software applications, and design and maintain current and future releases of Oracle family of software products. Identify and develop enhancements to applications and products, and plan and implement their portability. Design and execute tests, debug applications, and resolve technical issues. Analyze, design, and construct new features and functions for software applications. Follow, enforce, and define team standard practices and procedures, including coding standards. Specify, design, and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Work with members of Product Management team to refine and understand functional product requirements. Execute software project work based on milestone schedule and revise plans as necessary to meet changing needs and specifications. Create and maintain unit test suites for new modules and deliver projects. Write and maintain functional specifications and design documents. Take features and designs through software lifecycle to ensure release of production code.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a programmer analyst/engineering-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Incremental; 2) UML, Junit, SQL, PL/SQL; 3) JDeveloper, SQL Developer; 4) Oracle DB and SQL Server; 5) JAVA, J2EE, Web Services (JAX-WS), Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Java Persistence API (JPA), BC4J (ADFBC); 7) Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); 7) XML technologies, including XSD, XSLT, and XPath; and 8) HTML, JSP, JavaScript, JSF, Oracle ADF Rich Faces, Oracle WebCenter.
