Our client is a $150B Finance company operating in a shared services environment. They are implementing WD Financials and retiring their proprietary system. We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as a core team member for a Workday Finance implementation. The ideal candidate will provide value-added leverage to the executive staff to create seamless, automated solutions to IT designs. This person will create a seamless link between the Executive officers and the IT division as well as outside IT vendors. In this environment, every team member is expected to operate like a business owner. Candidates must be willing to give and receive constructive feedback. Candidates will be directly involved in process/procedures improvement.
Responsibilities would include:
Work with the Finance users to identify process and technology problems, diagnose these problems and design solutions to the problems
Help business users to define business requirements for technology and process engineering projects
Ensure that Finance Technology projects are implemented and the user acceptance testing is successfully planned and completed to provide a successful launch of the new solution
Work with business users for continued enhancements and support for the Finance technology assets
Serve as a liaison from the Finance Technology department to all other departments to ensure the Finance assets are implemented and operating in the best possible way for the company
Provide support to the Finance Tech Manager and their line manager as needed
Assist with the coordination of basic user administration when needed (access - adds, changes, and deletes)
Position Requirements:
5
years relevant experience as a Business Analyst or comparable role
Workday Finance Implementation experience required
Experience managing 4-10 small to medium Finance/Tech projects concurrently
Strong communication skills with the ability to question and probe when necessary
Excellent time management and task management skills
Experience with Microsoft Project, Word and Excel is required
. Master's Degree preferred, Bachelors a must, in Finance, or Computer Science
