In the role of the Account Manager, you will part of the sales team and perform the following:
Summary:
The field based salesperson will be accountable for growing our GVC vapor steam machines (18 kW-72 kW sizes) and related facility maintenance equipment including but not limited to our industrial vacuum cleaners to existing and new customers.
This individual will work closely with and report to Goodway's Director of Sales - Sanitation Division to increase the sales in multiple geographic territories.
Responsibilities:
The sales position requires the following:
Under the Regional Sales Manager, this position will be responsible for the solicitation, management, and expansion of Goodway sales in OR, WA, ID, UT, WY, MT, AK, and Western Canada (BC, SK, AB, MB) Establish strong relationships with end users at plant & corporate levels Directly responsible for handling sales activities (demos, consultations, training, sales visits) in OR, WA, ID, UT, WY, MT, AK, and Western Canada (BC, SK, AB, MB) as directed by the Regional Sales Manager Proactively prospect for new sales opportunities Work with Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales - Sanitation Division to develop & execute sales plan Represent the company at trade shows and industry events Travel both locally & regionally is required 50% (including overnights and weekends) Additional duties as needed and assigned.

Experience and Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required with 2-3 years of work experience as an outside salesperson in a manufacturing industry.
Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills are essential.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task.
Strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills and a sensitivity to understand sales and customer needs.
Ensure excellent customer service.
Flexibility and the desire to take on additional responsibility.
Compensation:
This position will pay a base salary with a competitive commission package that will focus on sales in a designated territory.
The package will include compensation for existing accounts, with bonus opportunities for new accounts and reaching stretch goals.
It is expected that a successful salesperson will generate between $25K - $50K in commissions per year, with no ceiling.
From time to time Goodway may ask the Account Manager to travel outside of their designated territory and in those cases commission would be paid.

The Account Manager will operate out of a home office equipped with computer, laptop, phone, etc.
The Account Manager will have access to a leased company vehicle to accommodate drive-able product demonstration requests.
Goodway will supply product demonstration equipment and training.
Travel expenses will be provided as per established employee guidelines.
