Accounting Advisory - Consultant

Leadenhall Search & Selection are recruiting a Accounting Advisory Consultant for a top US advisory firm.
The Role:
Conducting operational due diligence for complex transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, and IPOs.
Performing accounting projects focused on separating business units or subsidiaries.
Collaborating with the client's internal staff as an expert in operational senior accounting tasks and providing overall financial team support.
Compiling financial and regulatory information in compliance with SEC and regulatory requirements, including 10Ks, 10Qs, S-1 and S-4 filings, and coordinating audits.
Undertaking research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards, such as ASC 842 and ASC 606.
Initiating process improvement projects and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
The Person:
An undergraduate degree in Accounting is preferred, but candidates with a CPA and/or MBA, along with substantial accounting experience, will also be considered.
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required, along with the ability to seamlessly integrate into teams.
Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of U.
S.
GAAP and SEC reporting are essential.
Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities are desired.
Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, be self-motivated, exhibit ethical behaviour, and be reliable.
High energy levels and a dedication to providing quality client service are expected.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
