This global role will require an individual who is commercially minded and will lead and manage a team of 7 individuals.
The role will also partner with the Commercial teams, SOX and other internal teams as well as external customers.
As the company continues to expand and grow, this role will play a key role in supporting the Financial Operations team in developing key metrics as well as dashboards, driving automation and embracing the digital agenda.

In this role, you will:
Working with your Senior managers and leaders in the Financial Operations team to implement the department strategy Manage a portfolio of customers and oversee the resolution of outstanding balances for each of the Company brands (Kayak & OpenTable) Investigate and timely resolve payment discrepancies or issues, collaborating with internal teams and customers as needed Working with your colleagues in the Billing team and Billing Support, provide support to customers regarding billing queries.
Oversee 3rd Party collection efforts and ensure accuracy & completeness in reporting Oversee cash allocations, receipts, and remittances ensuring timely and accurate application and reporting.
Proactively drive updates on aged balances and unapplied payments ensuring bad debt is limited and accurate.
Ensure all processes are documented and consider SOX protocols.
Manage the team to enforce SOX controls where applicable.
Adhere to monthly close deadlines and responsibilities.
Review monthly feedback reports from the individual Accounts Receivable Specialists on payment collections, cash application, issues, projects and ensure timely follow up to resolution.
Ensure Cash received not applied is kept to a minimum and proactively maintained including advancing aged or uncollectible cash.
Implement best practices, standard service level agreements, and KPI's, develop reporting dashboards & trend analysis.
Develop clear responsibilities for each of the team and ensure their responsibilities are evenly distributed Ensure effective people management - training, motivating, developing, and managing team members.

years experience required working in a Supervisor/Manager capacity within a fast-paced Finance Team.
Previous People Management experience required.
Strong communication skills and able to proactively communicate at multiple levels.

The range for this United States located role is $87,000-$115,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
