JOB SUMMARYThe Senior Director leads a team that is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies, campaigns and plans across all MarketingThis team is responsible for integrating and connecting work streams, including acquisition, upgrade and retention strategies and plans, as well as connecting marketing channelsThis leader drives cohesion across the campaigns and programs of the Marketing department in order to drive customer growth, sales and results across all product linesThe Senior Director, Marketing Planning reports to the the Vice President, Marketing Planning & Operations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for strategy, execution, analysis and optimization of integrated marketing programs and campaignsWorks with business partners across Marketing including creative strategy, direct marketing, media, digital, database marketing and marketing enablement to ensure the flawless execution of integrated marketing campaigns from inception through post campaign analysisCollaborates with business partners outside of Marketing including Sales Operations, Marketing Analytics, and Market Research to connect workstreams and to understand customer behavior, triggers and metricsRecommends, plans and executes campaigns that are effective, on time, and on budgetLeads the planning and execution of strategy, tactics and measurement for integrated marketing campaigns enterprise wide to drive sales and results across all product lines.
Develops metrics for success; works with analytics and data teams to create marketing campaign measurement reporting and analysisRequires a deep understanding of how systems work and how to get at data to drive analysis.
Forecasts performance, identifies opportunities to improve results, enhance contact strategy or extend reachMeets or outperforms metric goalsWorks with teams across the Marketing organization including Multi-cultural Marketing, Database Marketing, Marketing Communications & Retention, Creative Strategy, Digital, Media and Direct Marketing to develop marketing plans and facilitate metrics and reporting to analyze performance and to drive marketing efficiencies and effectivenessIdentifies areas of opportunity for new programs and campaignsDrives marketing ROI through innovative tactics, reporting and process improvementsCreates, adjusts or maintains processes to ensure flawless but flexible execution, driving down expenses and reducing speed to marketIdentifies, implements and enhances processes and tools to support integrated campaigns and plans.
Manages a high-performing team of marketing experts that can provide the organization with world class experience, knowledge, execution and overall marketing leadership.
Implements strategic and operational processes making time, information, and decision processes more effective.
Supports the Marketing team with other duties and projects as needed.
