Inventory Control Manager

The Inventory Control Manager will manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, resolve shipment errors, and coordinate production and transfers.
Additionally, the position requires reporting skills including updating daily statuses, developing monthly KPI reports, and preparing inventory aging reports.

Description

  • Generate weekly purchase orders to facilitate the production and deployment of finished goods.
  • Review daily stock status reports to ensure adequate inventory levels align with forecasts.
  • Monitor and manage the timely shipment and receipt of purchase orders and stock transfer orders.
  • Investigate outstanding orders and returns, providing status updates as needed.
  • Resolve daily EDI errors promptly to ensure accurate processing.
  • Create and post production and usage records for variety packs and product data management.
  • Coordinate intercompany order corrections by creating return material authorizations.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly transfer and planning meetings.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations for warehouses and manufacturing locations and file claims with vendors and service providers.

Profile

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management is desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in reporting are desired.
  • People management skills are desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
  • Strong math skills, high motivation, organization, and detail-orientation, with a mindset for continuous improvement, are required.
