The Cost Controlling Team is dedicated to analyzing, commenting, and reporting of the Operational Expenses delivered to Senior Management (AXA XL Leadership Team), to AXA Group and to internal stakeholders (Regional CFO's and Finance Teams).
This Team is part of the Expense Management department within the Chief Reporting and Capital Officer organization.

The position offers the opportunity to actively participate in the design and optimization of processes and procedures and to expand and develop the Cost Controlling & Reporting for the AXA XL Division.
DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include? Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the Operating Expenses for the AXA XL Division Preparation of commentaries and analyses for reporting according to IFRS within the AXA XL Division and to the AXA Group.
Preparation of commentaries reports and analyses for the CFO, Chief Reporting and Accounting Officer, as well as for the AXA XL Leadership Team.
Ensure appropriate governance through procedures, instructions, and clear timelines, meeting internal and Group-wide deadlines.
Assist the Head of Expense Management in coordinating and communicating with AXA Group correspondents on operating expense reporting.
Lead and develop the Cost Controlling Team to support the Division in all aspects of cost management and provide the organization with the right information for all decision-making processes.
Be an effective and trusted business partner by providing relevant data and information to enable stakeholders to support their local management in the decision-making process.
Responsible for monitoring and tracking all financial impacts resulting from various projects.
Continuous improvement of procedures, KPI's, systems and tools.
Adapt to the needs of the organization, including enhancing and developing user-friendly and relevant expense reporting to help both Finance and Non-Finance colleagues understand expense data.
Manage quarterly close and accrual process.
Manage and actively monitor all Budgeting, Forecast and Pre-Close planning events.
Work closely with the Cost Allocation and International Shared Services teams.

base salary range for this position is $151,500 to $227,500 USD.
AXA XL is a global Company.
The salary range noted above is applicable only for US applicants.
Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location.
