Chief of Staff to the Chief Client OfficerSwitzerland, Paris, London or New YorkThe Chief of Staff will be a direct support and partner to the AXA XL Chief Client Officer.
The selected candidate will be instrumental in management of priorities and coordination of strategic client initiatives within AXA XL globally and with AXA Group.
Success in the role will require deep knowledge of the Commercial Lines business and the AXA XL, acting as an implementer as well as the ultimate connector, with enough knowledge about all key projects to be able to connect the dots across the organization.
DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include?Support of the Chief Client Officer (CCO) on his journey to make AXA XL a more client-centric organization which is able to sell services beyond the policy and help building up the newly created CCO function:
Managing CCO function and stakeholder management:
Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems that impact the management of the CCO organization.
Reports progress and risks.
Works with key stakeholders at local, regional and global levels at AXA XL on matters of strategic importance (and in many cases of a highly confidential / sensitive nature).
Maintains direct dialogue and engagement with key AXA Group stakeholders (GEM, AXA Climate) on priorities, queries, escalation of items and ultimately, resolution of these.
Key interaction point for 'Business Units' and key functions within the CCO organization, e.
g.
, corporate management processes, emerging issues, etc.
Planning and coordinating key CCO meetings including LT meetings, CCO LT strategy days / all function away Days or staff meetings, such as the Monthly and quarterly comms, in collaboration with Communications, HR and other LT members.
Ensure outputs/deliverables or escalation points are understood, 'actioned' or resolved within the CCO office or broader AXA XL as appropriate.
Owns the establishment of an internal CCO communication strategy for client & distribution community communications and working with comms and marketing as necessary.
Coordinating the successful execution of strategic initiatives within the CCO function:
Monitors delivery of the key strategic priorities for the CCO and engages, influences, aligns and partners with stakeholders in support and achievement of these global initiatives such as the Global Clients.
Engages with DCP leadership and XXX Implements a robust programme and project management culture across the CCO department to ensure delivery, whilst challenging all that we do with a CI mindset.
Responsible for the line management of members of staff within their reporting line structure (details tbd).
Acting as a trusted thought partner for the Chief Client Officer, serving as an advisor and sounding board for new ideas and initiatives.
You will report to the Chief Client Officer for AXA XL.

Bachelor s degree preferred and extensive knowledge and experience in global insurance.
Significant experience partnering at the executive level.

Ability to lead and act independently, think in global terms and demonstrate excellent business acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, presentation and influencing skills are essential.
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of sophistication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently juggle numerous concurrent responsibilities.
Able to implement and deliver strategic initiatives, making positive impact to the organization.
Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs.
Think quickly and have the flexibility to (re)prioritize multiple work streams/ projects/ tasks without sacrificing quality.
Possess outstanding finance, analytical skills and numerical aptitude; able to analyze and interpret data appropriately and identify trends in order to analyze or direct/ engage with others as needed.

base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 USD.
