Director of CommunicationsStamford, CT - Hybrid RoleCompetitive Pay, Great environment, Fast-paced!Newly created job opening for a highly organized and creative Director of Communications with one of the world's largest digital currency asset management firms (over $50B in assets).

You'll report directly to the VP of Communications and operate as a business partner to the c-suite executive team, supporting all strategic communication efforts.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications:
Lead planning, execution, and measurement of activities in the Communications department.
Media Relations:
Build and manage media relationships, draft press materials, and monitor industry trends.
Business Partner:
Act as the day-to-day contact for select executives, driving executive visibility.
Content Creation:
Collaborate on timely and engaging content for various platforms, including blog, employee communications, and marketing materials.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree6
years of relevant communications experience; ideally public relations with an agency and/or direct with a finance, crypto, EFT, or investment firmCurious, self-motivated team player with strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to synthesize complex informationExperience writing for various mediums, including press releases, blogs, talking points, and social copyHighly organized with a keen attention to detailStrong strategic thinking and analytical skillsPrevious experience in financial services, fintech, or technology industry preferredExperience working with c-level executives is a plus Why is This a Great Opportunity:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
