BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONIn this exciting role as a Senior Business Intelligence Managers, you will be responsible for managing a program of business unit-focused initiatives designed to help business partners drive value from information.
Responsible for managing the relationship between the Business Intelligence Group (BI) and a key business unit, the role will contribute to Charter s success by ensuring business needs and goals are realized through analysis and reporting activities of the Business Intelligence Group.
This position is in responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of business unit-focused initiatives aimed at assisting business partners in extracting value from information.
This functions as a technical specialist who provides management leadership to a team of BI technical professionals who provide succinct, high-quality information to business leaders.

Providing expert advice and education in the usage and interpretating of business data relevant to the business unit.
Communicating data nuances and insights to all levels of the company in a clear and concise manner.
Providing leadership in defining business-critical metrics and analyses that drives the business forward.
Developing analytic standards for measuring performance within the business unit, leading teams to consensus around analytic approaches and development of reporting priorities across key initiatives.
Ensuring a consistent and efficient set of information and metrics permeates all levels of the supported business unit across the enterprise.
Instilling best practices across the company using Business Intelligence tools and philosophies from front-line employee to executive leadership.
Ensuring that the Business Intelligence architecture evolves to continue to provide fact-based decision making, sophisticated ad hoc capabilities, and fresh insight into the performance of the business unit.
Accountable for plans and teamwork assignments, guiding work activities, assessing integrated project objectives, escalating and communicating resource needs, ensuring quality reviews are completed, and pushing issue resolution as needed.
Responsible for overseeing all areas of BI product design, development, and technical strategy based on business needs.
Driving the generation of architectural and detailed design documents in accordance with the needed deliverables.
Ensuring that the technology stack meets the needs of the product and is flexible enough to scale as needs change and usage grows.
Holding technical discussions and maintaining strategic influence over the data operations team, which will deliver continual data quality reports and take proactive efforts to improve data quality in accordance with data standards.
Presenting data in a fashion that is easy to understand with proper documentation for successful user adoption.
Managing the delivery of critical projects through scope/requirement setting, working with the development team to provide information requested, conducting user acceptance testing and packaging the final product for end-user adoption.
Maintaining a roadmap of the functional area managed with a clear understanding of deliverable and associated deadlines.
Consolidating redundant reporting and ensuring that information is used consistently and efficiently across the business unit.
Performing other duties as requested.

yearsExperience as a BI developer/analyst/architect, or other related roles with BI development practices - 5
