Greenwich Associates has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to drive critical strategic initiatives, starting with a multi-year international business transformation. This position reports into the SVP Operations and will be responsible for organizing, directing and executing analysis activities for large complex initiatives that span across multiple divisions.

The successful candidate has best-practice knowledge of SDLC methodologies including business requirement gathering, stakeholder analysis, use case analysis, user testing and change management activities. S/he will work closely with leaders from various business units and IT to translate business needs into concise, organized business requirements and functional technical specifications.

Principal Accountabilities
:

Works with Subject Matter Experts across multiple divisions (Sales, Operations, Production, IT, Finance, etc.) to capture, reconcile and translate business needs into concise business requirements and functional technical design specifications
Delivers high quality documentation for Business Requirements, Business Cases, Use Cases, Scope Documents, Test Plans, Communications, Training
Performs Business Process analysis, Stakeholder analysis, Root Cause analysis, As-Is and To-Be process mapping, and Gap analysis
Advises on and has knowledge of best practices and methodologies
Coordinates, facilitates and executes User Acceptance Testing activities
Leads Change Management activities, including drafting of change communications and end-user training material as well as conducting training sessions


Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience
:

Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant financial services environment.
Strong knowledge and application of best-practice business analysis practices and SDLC methodologies with a proven track record of producing structured and concise documentation
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence business and technical stakeholders from all levels of the organization
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with attention to details
Successful track record of building collaborative relationships and alliances across internal, external and organizational boundaries
Effective change management skills, including creation of communication and end-user training documentation as well as leading training sessions
Experience in creating end-user test plans and test cases as well as leading and executing testing
Experience working in an agile application development methodology
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint)
Experience in the following a plus: MS Dynamics CRM or other CRM application, MS Dynamics AX, ConfirmIT
General knowledge of Financial Services industry, including corporate and investment banking, fixed-income and equities sales and trading, and investment management
