Job Description/
Responsibilities:
The Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect is hands-on responsible for the development of data pipeline and analytic platform. This platform plays a major role in helping to generate alpha-driven strategies for trading execution.

Major Project Areas:
Data Workflow ? Design, develop and performance tune data generation and transformation processes (i.e. ETL) at scale to support data analysis.
User Segmentation Engine ? Design and develop system to build, manage and analyze custom segments, profiling and attribution
Quantitative Analysis ? Work with the Quantitative and the Data and Analytics teams in the design and implementation of campaign optimization and trading strategies.
Desirable Skills and
Experience:

years data engineering experience
Knowledge of Digital Media: DSP, SSP, DMP, RTB space. Experience building user profiles, cookie pool matching and analysis.
Proficiency with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop/MapReduce, Hive, Cassandra, Storm)
Experience with Scala or willingness to learn
Strong fundamentals in algorithms, functional programming, software design
Effective organizational skills and process/project management abilities with strong attention to detail
Experience coordinating work with third-party development and data vendors
Exceptional analytic, writing and communication skills
Adept at learning and applying new technologies
Statistics, probability, mathematics and machine learning expertise
Proficiency in R, math/stat packages (SPSS, Matlab, SAS, etc.), statistical computing with Python
Capital markets experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
