Contract Position in Stamford, CT
A global investment bank in Stamford, CT is seeking an email admin with expert level Exchange server knowledge. Project work will be mainly in Exchange 2007, a PST migration from one part of the firm to another; experience in Exchange 2010 is a plus.
Administer email system within MS Exchange environment.
Expertise with Exchange Server including installation, configuration, load balancing and performance tuning
Implement change in production environments and support said systems.
Communicate with department manager, management, key users, and external vendors.
Provide operational management and engineering of Exchange 2007 and 2010.
Lead/guide/perform troubleshooting efforts in complex situations.
Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
Recommend settings changes to the Windows Operating System or Microsoft messaging environment to improve performance and reliability.
Work with Senior Systems Administrators/Engineers and any required 3rd parties to troubleshoot issues.

The ability to adapt quickly to many functional environments, manage resources, and work independently and as a team member are required.
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
