Our client is looking for Pythonistas to fortify our server infrastructure that connects to various data services and our computational engines running in R. They have lots of data, so you need to be comfortable with data pipelines and managing data as sets.
Desired Skills &
Experience:
- Have an engineering or comparable degree/experience
- Know asynchronous Python
- Nice to have some R experience
- Know bash, awk, sed, unix concepts and some Java
- Understand functional programming beyond map-reduce
- Understand web application architectures and back-end server architectures
- Have experience with message queues and buses (e.g. RabbitMQ)
- Have experience with NoSQL data stores (e.g. Redis)
Salary is based on experience -- we are open to both junior and senior developers
We will consider candidates with Visas.
No relocation packageEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
