SAP BW Manager

Working with functional leads to develop new reporting requirements and opportunities to fulfill the To-Be business processes.
Empowered to make decisions driving to the best business process to keep project moving forward.
Be a champion of the solution and assist in change management activities.
Manage a team of SAP BW developers / architects to deliver reporting solutions as part of internal projects and ongoing user reporting requests.
Manage changes and supporting implementation strategy.
System Optimization - data model review, find ways to improve query performance as well as that of data loads.
Participate in requirements gathering for new reporting requests.
Adhere to documentation standards e.g. change request forms, functional/technical specification documents, naming conventions, etc.
Develop archiving/data retention strategy.
No travel required.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree - Engineering, Finance, Business or IT-related field required.
3
years of management experience or cross functional coordination, but a willingness to be hands-on preferred.
5
years experience with at least one full life-cycle implementation of SAP Business Warehouse and Business preferred.
Intelligence tools on Netweaver 7.0 preferred.
Ability to develop strategies and implementation plans.
Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.
Results driven, yet highly team-oriented.
Ability to analyze large volumes of information and define the big picture.
Ability to deal with ambiguity.
Experience working within an agile methodology a big plus.
Big 4 consulting a plus.
Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment, to fill in the blanks with points of view, and to round out an A team of talented people that value team productivity and results over ego.
SAP BW Skills needed include:
Candidates must have a strong understanding of Multi-dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Mastery level of knowledge with BW configuration of BW 7.0/3.x data objects including Info-objects, Info-sources, Transfer/Update Rules, ODS, Info-Providers, Multiproviders, open hub preferred.
Mastery level of BW Extractors various extraction methods from the R/3 system and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies and tables in various ECC, R/3 versions preferred.
Expertise in BW integration with SAP Portals/NetWeaver preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
