Our client is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Architect who will be fully accountable for both tactical and strategic support for infrastructure. This includes hardware (HP servers), operating systems (Windows and Linux), virtualization (VMware)
Experience with managing resources responsible for infrastructure services and operations.
Experienced in working with third party providers (Preferred Service Providers) and vendors in a global infrastructure environment.
Broad and deep experience in designing and operating global, enterprise-wide technology infrastructures in two or more of the following IT disciplines: IT Plans and Budgets, Platform Services (mainframes, mobile devices, Wintel and Linux servers, blade technologies), Data Center Planning and Operations, Network Operating Systems, Web Technologies, Field Support and Branch Operations, IT Architecture (Process and information, applications, technology architectures).
Experienced in operating IT global infrastructure as a business and is current with the best practices in the technology industry for operating enterprise infrastructures.
Possess a complete (holistic) understanding of operating IT infrastructure as a service business where all the IT domains must be engaged to deliver technology-based solutions that meets/exceeds customers' specifications.
Tactical accountabilities include successful day-to-day support, administration, maintenance and minor enhancements of assigned systems through third party providers and meeting or exceeding of Service Level Standards.
The Senior Infrastructure lead is considered the 'expert' in the system(s) he/she supports, and is colloquially referred to as the 'Go To' person.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
