Repucom manages a blue chip client base including major professional sporting bodies (NFL, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, PGA Tour, etc.), major sponsor brands (GEICO, Budweiser, Nationwide Insurance, PepsiCo, etc.) and television broadcasters (NBC, ESPN, Fox Sports, etc.). We work together with our clients in the provision of media analysis, market research, insights, and consulting services to better understand commercial investments within the sport and entertainment sponsorship landscape.
To continue our strong growth, Repucom is seeking a talented sports marketing professional for the position of Sr. Director, Marketing and Commercial Solutions for the North American market, to be based in our Stamford, CT office. This person will be responsible for creating, developing, and selling integrated solutions to brands, rights holders, broadcasters and agencies in North American sports and entertainment. Reporting to the V.P. of Development, this person will be responsible for driving new business initiatives.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Target and identify potential clients through networking, outreach, and other creative initiatives to start meaningful business conversations
Work with Repucom's extensive client base and new business organizations to deliver consultative solutions to the revenue or brand marketing challenges.
Manage conversation to conclusion including presentation and proposal generation, contract creation and editing, and oversee briefing of our Client Service function.
Work closely with Account Directors and Account Managers to ensure clear communication and expectation management with clients.
Produce to performance standards (measureable results = quotas and targets)
Manage pipeline of prospective clients and provide regular updates on communications and status on all efforts made to generate new business
Represent Repucom at conferences, meetings, networking events, and other marketing initiatives
Skills:
Minimum 7 years experience within the sports and entertainment landscape either on the brand side or rights holder/properties.
Proven track record with measureable results
Knowledge of the US sports and entertainment sponsorship landscape
Understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods and appropriate use in market
Exposure to Repucom reports would be beneficial but not mandatory
A results and outcome focused attitude with the ability to be self sufficient
Strong knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel on short notice to client meetings as necessary
Commitment to client facing activity will require more than 20% travel when necessary
Must be creative, well-organized, posses a strong work ethic, desire to excel, and willingness to learnEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
